I'm Rachel Mihalos, a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive mental healthcare in East Providence, Rhode Island. I am committed to fostering a supportive and empathetic environment where clients feel empowered to explore their mental health journeys. I collaborate closely with my clients to develop personalized treatment plans, incorporating both medication management and therapeutic interventions to achieve optimal outcomes.
My Background and Experience
I am a highly qualified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Providence College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Rhode Island College. Furthering my expertise, I earned a Master’s degree from Capella University and completed a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from MCPHS University. I hold a certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a PMHNP.
With a diverse professional background, I have gained valuable experience working in both inpatient and community mental health settings, as well as in medical nursing. My multifaceted expertise allows me to offer a holistic approach to mental health care, addressing both psychological and physiological aspects of my clients' well-being.
